SAE J1410 – 2016 Edition – Air Brake Valve – Performance Requirements

This SAE Recommended Practice establishes minimum performance requirements for new pneumatic valves when tested in accordance with the test procedure outlined in SAE J1409. The performance requirements will include:

2. Leakage characteristics

3. Low temperature performance

4. Elevated temperature performance

5. Corrosion resistance performance

6. Endurance testing

7. Structural integrity
