SAE J1392 – 2008 Edition – Steel, High Strength, Hot Rolled Sheet and Strip, Cold Rolled Sheet, and Coated Sheet1

This SAE Recommended Practice covers seven levels of high strength carbon and low-alloy hot rolled sheet and strip, cold rolled sheet, and coated sheet steels. The strength is achieved through chemical composition and special processing.

NOTE 2~High-strength, low-alloy Sheet and Strip product formerly were included in SAE J 410c (Cancelled), but are now detailed in this separate SAE Recommended Practice.
