SAE AMS7911 – Revision C – Aluminum Beryllium, Preforms Hot Isostatic Pressed and Heat Treated 38Al – 62Be

This specification covers aluminum and beryllium powders consolidated by hot isostatic pressing (HIP) into the form of bar, rod, tubing, and shapes.

These performs have been used typically for parts requiring high thermal conductivity, low density, and high modulus of elasticity, but usage is not limited to such applications.
