SAE AMS5548 – Revision P – Steel, Corrosion and Heat-Resistant, Sheet and Strip 16.5Cr – 4.5Ni – 2.9Mo – 0.10N 1850 to 1975 oF (1010 to 1079 oC) Annealed

This specification covers a corrosion and heat resistant steel in the form of sheet and strip.

These products have been used typically for parts requiring high strength and oxidation resistance up to 800 mDF (427 mDC) and where such parts require maximum formability and may require welding during fabrication, but usage is not limited to such applications.
