SAE AMS4924 – Revision F – Titanium Alloy, Bars, Forgings, and Rings 5A1 2.5Sn, Extra Low Interstitial, Annealed

This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of bars, wire, forging, flash welded rings, and stock for forging or flash welded rings. Primarily for parts requiring good weldability and high strength-to-weight ratio operating from -250 to -423 mDF (-155 to -255 mDC). the room and elevated temperature strengths of this alloy are lower than those of AMS 4926 and AMS 4966.
