SAE AMS4455 – Revision F – Magnesium Alloy, Investment Castings 10A1 (AM100A-T6) Solution and Precipitation Heat Treated

This specification covers a magnesium alloy in the form of investment castings.

These castings have been used typically for small intricate parts, which may operate up to 300 mDF (149 mDC) and are cast to approximate final dimensions, where the intricacy of the part is such that high fluidity of the molten metal is required, but usage is not limited to such applications.
