SAE AMS4395 – Revision F – Magnesium Alloy Welding Wire 9.0Al – 2.0Zn (AZ92A)

This specification covers a magnesium alloy in the form of welding wire.

This wire has been used typically for use as filler metal for gas-metal-arc and gas-tungsten-arc welding of magnesium alloys with aluminum as a significant alloying element particularly those parts requiring consistently high-quality joints, but usage is not limited to such applications.
