SAE AMS4029 – Revision L – Aluminum Alloy Sheet and Plate (2014; -T6 Sheet, -T651 Plate) Solution and Precipitation Heat Treated

This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of sheet and plate.

These products are used typically for structural parts of good strength, but usage is not limited to such applications.

Certain design and processing procedures may cause these products to be susceptible to stress-corrosion cracking; ARP823 recommends practices to minimize such conditions.
