SAE AMS2248 – Revision G – Chemical Check Analysis Limits, Corrosion and Heat-Resistant Steels and Alloys, Maraging and Other Highly-Alloyed Steels, and Iron Alloys

This specification defines limits of variation for determining acceptability of chemical composition of cast and wrought corrosion and heat resistant steels and alloys, maraging and other highly alloyed steels, and iron alloy parts and materials acquired from a producer.

Check limits for elements or for ranges of elements not listed herein shall be as specified in the applicable material specification or as agreed upon by purchaser and producer.
